I made this. It is the easiest poncho/dress/kimono to make. No sewing (unless you want to hem it so it won't fray, then yes you need to sew) lucky for me this fabric doesn't fray (much) and I like the deconstructed look. I will be wearing it in Tokyo. I bought the fabric for $4 the other day at a 1 day only Lincraft sale. I bought heaps of fabric and have half finished a few other projects, will show you this week.
Instructions: Basically all you do is cut out a giant circle (fold some fabric in half, and then in half again and draw a curved shape in tailors chalk, cut along the line and open up, voila a circle.) Next cut out a head hole, try it on and work out where you want your belt holes to sit (you have 4 holes all up for the belt to come through) You don't need to do the belt part if you want just a poncho. So easy, it took maybe 30 minutes.

It looks great! do you mind me asking, do you just cut a hole in the middle and its just that simple?
