Another recent fashion shoot
Stylist Hayley Hughes
Photographer Mia Mala McDonald
Art Director Esther Justin
Make Up Artist Claire Leighton
I'm not sure if anyone checks my styling portfolio so I thought I'd put this here too. This shoot was something I wanted to do for a while, a Ju-on (The Grudge) as in the Japanese horror movie, inspired editorial. I love how it turned out, what do you think? I think it has the right amount of horror elements but is actually really a beautiful editorial. This is the shoot that was shot at the same venue as the Trimapee runway show. Isn't it an amazing space?

Love the whole aesthetic, from the photography, to the set, to the styling. Eerie at its best.

Wow Hayley! I hadn't looked at your portfolio with quite enough time and all at once..but your work is amazing and is really blowing me away! I'm super proud of you..You're doing an absolutely fantastic and professional job!
ReplyDeleteI definitely can see your personal taste and style incorporated into this..Something that is truly original and not following other trends! I love that you always have a hint of Japanese inspiration as well, but not just a Japanese copycat like some stylists/artists/designers. You are doing a really, really great job. I love it.
Oh, and by the way, I've recieved so many more followers/viewers since you talked about me on your blog. Its hard to get exposure sometimes. You rule.
