Double A
Beloved and uber cool Melbourne boutique Alice Euphemia threw a party on Thursday night to celebrate is recent make over. Alice Euphemia celebrates Australian design, only stocking Aussie labels and is one of the biggest supporters of up and coming designers. The new store fit out by Edwards Moore with its huge dominating staircase (for show only) and lighting concept by Blue Bottle helps showcase these great Aussie designers in a more deserving way.
Rae from Little Hero PR with Aussie fashion icon Jenny Kee whose new scarf collection is stocked at Alice.
Luke from Romance Was Born, one of Alice's most popular brands.
Just up the road Melbourne label Alpha60 held their AW collection show in the forecourt to St Paul's cathedral which is next door to thier Flinders Lane flasgship boutique. It made for the perfect setting for the collection of pure Alpha pieces, think lots of black, grey and this season white, all in the strong boxy cuts Alpha are known for.
So that was my double A night. A night with Alice Euphemia and Alpha60, a truly Melbourne night at that too.
