Startstyling at Wut Berlin

Uber cool Tokyo boutique Wut Berlin recently held an event to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Berlin-based label Starstyling and I was lucky enough to attend whilst in Tokyo town. I'm a big fan of what Wut Berlin does for the local Tokyo fashion scene, bringing new and fresh labels to Tokyo from around the world and supporting local up and coming talent too and one of the labels they have long supported is Starstyling, stocking them each and every season. This was a chance for Tokyo to celebrate one of their favourite brands 10th anniversary and for me to get to meet the lovely designers Kai Seifried and Katja Schlegel.

The in-store installation was a mix of my favourite things - holographic + rainbow colours.

Cardboard cut-outs of Katja Schlegel and Kai Seifried - perfect for photo opportunities.

Lots of the attendees were big devotees of the brand and as such were dressed head to toe in Starstyling which was great to see.

I may look a bit tired in this photo and that's because I was. I had spent the day shopping all over Harajuku and was positively exhausted by the time I reached the party. It was all worth it though as you can see in my latest Tokyo Vlog showcasing my Tokyo Shopping Haul.

  4. Hi Hayley,

Big fan and longtime reader of your blog! I'm also "size fat" (plus size fashionistas ftw!) and a total Japanophile. I was just wondering, I know you mentioned having difficulty finding clothing in your size in Tokyo. That's a big concern of mine when I visit. Do you have any tips? I hoped since the oversize trend seems to be big there, I might be able to fit into the more oversized styles... Have you had any luck?
